Over a hundred years ago, on the 13th day of May in 1895, with Traverse City still a small town of 7,000, two enterprising young men — William Arms, a plumber, and Wilson F. Cole, a tinsmith — formed a partnership and opened a plumbing and heating business: Arms & Cole.
